OPPORTUNITY TO CONDUCT!!! (Denver Metro)
Denver metro area community concert band seeks qualified individuals to apply for principal conductor position. Our dedicated, all-volunteer organization rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings in central Denver. We perform approximately 15-20 concerts throughout the year, showcasing a variety of music including patriotic standards, classical, pop, Big Band, swing, jazz, Broadway tunes and a few vocal numbers.
Qualifications include:
- Leadership ability in collaboration with board of directors
- Interpersonal skills in working with adult, volunteer musicians
- Dedication and commitment to band’s mission and development
- Strong instrumental musical background; conducting experience/training preferred
